Now that I have finally gotten into civ pbems I have had a desire to try one of the scenarios that focuses more on economics and diplomacy rather than war.
Since we are still missing one more player for Eivind's "First strike", I wanted to see if there was any interest in having a game of one of my all time favourites, Exile's "The age of imperialism".
Because the setting is similar to Eivind's other scenario, "La belle epoque", I pretty much ripped the house rules from that one with some slight modifications, though I'm obviously open to changes and suggestions.
# 01. No tech trading.
# 02. No reloading.
# 03. No rehoming of trade units.
# 04. No 'square stealing' from the AI.
# 05. No air protected land/sea stacks.
# 06. No "freezing" of airplanes.
# 07. No ship chains.
# 08. No building of new cities. Only re-creating razed ones alowed.
# 09. No airbases in adjecent to each other or a city.
# 10. No artificial creating of ZOC with units.
# 11. No war ships may cross straits owned by a foreign power without their strict permision. The Bosphorus Strait (Constantinople), Suez Canal (Alexandria), the Panama Canal (Panama), Kiel Canal (Hamburg), Gibraltar strait (Gibraltar), Øresund (Copenhagen).

Replace the game.txt with this one in Barthi's mod to remove the cheat option.
