Hi @ll !
Because Sephiroth asked so nicely, I'll take over Italy. :o
I'm quite new to the game .. and absolutely new to this scenario.
So have a little patience with me. ^^
Italy doesn't have frontiers to Russia so you're pretty in the beginning .

You can begin, if you wish. As long as you don't use your Navy for attacking purposes. We can start playing and change rules within the next days.
I think we should get the rules sorted before we begin!
Don't really mind. As Atze can play tomorrow morning at the very earliest. That will be the time, I watch the rules file. But as turn 1 usually doesn't bring war with it, there should be no problem actualizing the rules later. Depending on noone does use the ships for attacking purposes.

Ah ok. Let me see: Generic house rules
- No reloading!
- No terraforming.
- No rehoming of trade units.
- No air protected land/sea stacks.
- No "freezing" of airplanes.
- No ship chains.
- No building of new cities. Only re-creating razed ones alowed. And no raizing by the owner on purpose!
- Declaring war only with gentlemen's agreement rule: Declare war and have naval battles at turn 1, but enter enemy territory and attack cities just at turn 2. No entering of enemy territory also means no entering of biplanes, Zeppelins and stuff!
- No airbases in adjecent to each other or a city.
- No other actions that don't make sense in real life. No taking advantage of the civ game machine to better your results in any way. Ask the other players if in doubt before acting.)
- No tech trading!!!
- No diplomatic contacts to human players via "AI".
Rules I removed:
- No 'square stealing' from the AI. AI steals itself, so at least you need the chance to "re"steal.
- No artificial creating of ZOC with units. Don't really understand what that means.
The square stealing is of course only ment to apply for stealing the pre-arranged squares. Of course you may re-steal, that goes without saying. But for France to steal the industrial square from Belgia is not only unrealistic, but unbalancing according to my careful planning and placing of cities.
Artificial ZOC creating is to use an airplane to pave the way through ZOC with units that don't have the ignore ZOC flag.
Russia wants peace and trade agreements with all powers. We do not want to offend any of our neighbours so if you feel threatened by Russia's moves, please let us know so that we can settle such matters peacefully.

Here we go with the new rules file. It just takes the naval stats of the new version into the old game.
Everyone download and replace file!
