Any idea when you will have time to play Eurisko? Its been over two weeks now! Hope your exam went well
I guess Eurisko must have a good reason for not playing. As he is unable to post an explanation I say we find a neutral player to take over temporarily. They should carry on in his best interests without making any major changes so that Eurisko can carry on when he returns.
This would count for Brownman's Burden, First Strike and Bonaparte III. Anybody like to volunteer to stand in?
I think we have given Eurisko pleanty of time now. Not even sending a message to say how long he was going to be away is a bit of a shabby way to treat the rest of the players. I am sure there must be a good reason (Abducted by Aliens!?!) Therefore I would like to find a new Napoleon.
The game is still quite young. There have been no wars and France has been extremely well run by Eurisko so a new Emperor will not be picking up the pieces! Whoever takes on the role will need to be an agressive playr as France is the protagonist in any Napoleonic scenario.

I would hate to see this PBEM die.. but I would also hate to see myself being overwhelmed by PBEMs. I love this scenario, but I can't bring myself to play France.. I know this may sound a bit stupid, but would people be interested in changing countries perchance and maybe restart the game with me in it?
Just an idea. Sorry for not just taking France, it'll just be too much for me now.

I´d like to play Napoleon PBEMs, especially France, but I´m very overloaded now. Perhaps we can rest a while till some other PBEMs are finished?

I'm just pissed of with Eurisko for disappearing like that. I spent a lot of time and effort making this game and within a few turns it has died off
I can understand peoples reasons for not wanting to take on a huge empire like France. If someone wanted to swap Civs to command the French and free up a smaller nation I would be over the moon!

You are more than welcome to take over as the French. My only provision would be that you can agree that you will be able to post promptly (within 24 hours) and let us know if you are unavailable to play by posting in the absent players thread. The pace of the games here is generally MUCH faster than they used to be at Apolyton PBEM (in the last year that I have been watching/participating there). If you think you will be able to post regularly and not disappear then we welcome you to the game
Is everybody else happy to resume? I know Cobra said there were a lot of games on and I understand this is a busy time of year but I would really like to carry on even if things are a bit slower until after the festive period!

Glad you are still up for it Cobra, I was not sure before if you did not have time to play as France or you just did not have the time to play ful stop!
