So who here are still up to playing Civ 2 MP?
There is an abundance of good games yet to be played. No reason to let a good thing die!

Ah, the Ingvar, and where have you been?
I do check in from time to time, and would be interested in playing a game if someone started it.
Ditto. Any suggestions?
Personally, I'd like to try Roman Civil Wars, available here. It's a well-done ToT scenario with all 7 nations playable, although they vary in difficulty. We could easily start playing with just 2 player-controlled nations, and then add players later if anyone is interested.

I don't play ToT
Fair enough. Any suggestions?
Keep in mind that I agree with Metropolis from the "Curtain Falls" thread:
I can't think of any MGE scenarios that really fit Metropolis' description; they're all large-scale, slow-paced empire builders. Maybe Sengoku Jidai, if we limited or cut out trade units altogether?
Or Star Wars Insurrection with the same limit on trade units, if there are any. (I've never played that scenario before.)

I'm around. MGE or TOT works for me. Rape of Nations has very quick turns. We could start with that, or continue on the game that has been started.
Wow.
It seems it is now a little over one year since the last turn was posted on this forum.
My fingers are itching to start playing again!
TRON is a fine scenario, but I think we should start a new game rather than play the old one.
Have you played CurtSiblings Battle Of Zarklaw scenarios? I think they could be fun, since the factions start out prepared for full scale war, so we won't need to play for nomnths just for the fun to begin.
Looking back I think the scenario I enjoyed the most was Realm War, since it had a very unique and new map, with interesting armies. We never got so very far with it though.
Star Wars: Insurrection was not very well balanced I think.
Battle of Zarklaw was played here too, I think.
I am aware of that, I took part in it. I was asking them if they had played it!
The game never went very far. I think that with the way the scenario is set up it wouldn't be fun taking over from where someone else started!
I think TRON would be a nice scenario to start out with. I can't find McMonkeys graphics update, though. It seems to have been purged from the thread.
