Und ich will einfach mal wieder ein PBEM spielen.
Und ich will einfach mal wieder ein PBEM spielen.
The world is grey, the mountains old
Our people's heats are ashen-cold
No harp is wrung, no silver trumpet calls
The darkness dwells in europe's Halls
Yet we still remember, we few who dwell
In this far land beneath the trees
The truth
The Light
The dreaming golden spires
The Starlight on the western seas
Well I have enough time to play another PBEM. If not this one (which I think would be excellent) then one of the other ones I suggested on the "Players Needed" thread!
I would really like to give this scenario a try. Originally we got together the following players:
PLAYERS:
Uí Néill - Civilionaut
Brittonic - Rabyserb
Danish - Cobra
Norse - Lenin
Scottish -
English - McMonkey
Munster -
Are you guys still up for it? Does anyone else want to join? If not then I say we give the Scottish to the AI and combine the two Irish clans into one. This Irish faction will then have 12 cities. What do you think guys?
We´re still red, we´re still white, we´re still danish dynamite
Wenn du tot bist, dann weißt du nicht, dass du tot bist, es ist nur schwer für die anderen. Genau so ist es, wenn du blöd bist.
i say okay, munster is the second?
Rady hat dann Aufschlag ( Post 3 )
Nestor says he will join in after 28th July. It would be good to know if Rady and Lenin are still up for this?
I'm up...
Cool! Are you still interested Lenin?

OK, so here's the play order:
Uí Néill - Civilionaut
Brittonic - Rabyserb
Danish - Cobra
Norse - Lenin
Scottish - Nestor
English - McMonkey
Munster - Civilionaut
Cobra's red and white barbarians are up next. Nestor should be available from the 28th onwards so there is no major rush to play your turns at the moment.
Greetings from the dansk vikingr.

Upon his shoulders perch two ravens, Hugin and Munin.
They circle the earth by day seeing all, at night they report to him the world's tidings.
He wears a golden helmet and a golden ring, at his side sit two wolves.
His weapons a magic sword and a spear called Gungnir, they are carved with runes.
His eight legged horse Sleipnir carries him over land, sea and air, the bringer of the valiant dead, the einherjar, from the battlefield across the rainbow bridge to Valhalla.
For a single drink of the enchanted water he paid with one eye, he was granted supreme wisdom.
He is the god of poetry, sorcery, and death.
Wounded, pierced by a spear he hung upside down for nine days.
Fasting and agony he made of himself a sacrifice to himself.
Given no bread nor mead he looked down, and with a loud cry fell screaming from the world tree.
In a flash of insight the secret magic of the runes was revealed to him.
He took up the runes and mastered them, eighteen powerful charms for protection, success in battle, lovemaking, healing and the power to bring back the dead.
Hail from the North!

As I have no contact with the Scots I will play this turn for Nestor. Hopefully by the time his turn comes around again it will be closer to the 28th!
Are we allowing new cities to be founded?
Any other house rules we need to stipulate?
The Clans of Scotland desire peace and prosperity with their fellow islanders and the Norsefolk. Traders are welcome!
