Rebel forgotten this one?
I have been playing this scenario a bit, and I think it would be much more fun if the Rouge nations were under human control.
If cupcoffe were up to it, would'nt it make an even better game if he were to control both the Rouge nations and China?
It would of course require him to role play a bit and play the nations seperately(same as with India, for now I will simply play India as having nothing to do with anything the Allies are up to), but I see no reason not to try this. Either way, it would not be too strange for China or even Russia to support some Rouge states, and, as I said, it could make for a much more exciting game.
I could take the Rogue Nations
That would be an excellent, I should think. Welcome aboard Rady!
Hm, shouldn't we restart, because the Rogue Nations are the secenario starters?
Should I threat the finances seperately for each nation too?
Hmm, would you mind much if we traded places, Rady? I only picked the Russians at the end because we had too few players.
OK, then I take Russia - again, it's my destiny
I noticed the Rogue states start with a lot more units than usual in your modification, JP.
Is that intentional?
The reason is because I had to start the scenario to edit out the units in India. However by doing so, the "events" units that spawned on the first turn saved into the scenario.
So, no, it wasn't as if I placed them on purpose, but yes, I acknowledge this has changed.
I don't particularly see a problem with it, to be honest. The rogue nations are not exactly in a strong position...
I am all for cupcoffee restarting this scenario!
Okay, it's just that with the extra terrorist units, conquering cities like Belfast is pretty much guaranteed on the first turn.
Still, should I start off the game?
I think you should start it... We'll take Belfast back on the first turn too...
The question is, do we want to play with a modified First Strike points system now that we have players? Nothing crazy, but I was thinking maybe
+1 trade for (China, Russia, Rogue Nations), +.5 (USA, European Union, Allies)
+2 civil tech, -2 military tech
+2 for capturing a city w/o nukes
-5 for capturing a city w/ nukes
I think it has made First Strike pretty fun, personally.
I would like to have a point system too.
I think the Rouge nations would need something to have a chance of keeping up with points though. I don't know what though.
