    The Age of Imperialism - Mod by Barthi (V4.2)

    1. No reloading.
    2. No rehoming of trade units.
    3. No 'square stealing' from the AI.
    4. No air protected land/sea stacks.
    5. No "freezing" of airplanes.
    6. No ship chains.
    7. No transport the "Fort" unit with ships
    8. No building of new cities. Only re-creating razed ones alowed.
    9. No airbases in adjecent to each other or a city.
    10. No artificial creating of ZOC with units.
    11. No war ships may cross straits owned by a foreign power without their strict permision. The Bosphorus Strait (Constantinople), Suez Canal (Alexandria), the Panama Canal (Panama), Kiel Canal (Hamburg), Gibraltar strait (Gibraltar), Øresund (Copenhagen).

    Maybe Madrid should have a wonder? Perhaps Hoover dam, or if that is too powerful then the Manhattan project as a symbolic wonder for flavour, it could be called "Colonial history", "Catholic traditions" or "Restauracion Borbonica" (The Bourbon restauration as Kings of Spain in 1874, Spain got a constitution and was noted as a period of Economic growth).

    If we are to be able to build Forts, we should probably have a rule that you can not transport them with ships.

    Edit: The events that give all countries their Agent unit are still there, except now you get a fort instead. Perhaps we should remove those events?

    Thx, i can't test so many, i edit this Wonder and the Fort ist only for Capital

    I will change it so that one only gets a Fort in the capital.

    Edit: "Restauración borbónica" en España is in Madrid Wonder

    The great library might be a little too powerful unless we give it a tech that makes it obsolete, maybe "Imperialism" or "Popular culture", it would give the Spanish a couple of years of free tech before it becomes useless

    Typos: in nation selection at start the Spanish are named Spains.
    Spain Infantry should be Spanish Infantry.
    Spain Troops should be Spanish Troops.

    Otherwise, amazing work Barthi!
    Having a new playable faction fills an important void.

    Why won't my citizens celebrate?

    I have put luxuries up to 30% and put lots of entertainers in cities but still no celebrations. For example I tried Moscow with 7 Happy Citizens, two Content and 6 Entertainers but when I test it in single player hotseat mode the city doesn't celebrate. What am I missing?

    you have Monarchy and a big land = luxuries up to 50% = citizens celebrate.

    Ok, thanks. I wasn't aware of this. I though that if the number of happy citizens equalled the number of content ones and there were no unhappy citizens then the city celebrated. There is obviously more to it than that. Is there a guide anywhere that goes into detail?

    I will begin my turn now so I hope there are no more updates!
