Wenn du tot bist, dann weißt du nicht, dass du tot bist, es ist nur schwer für die anderen. Genau so ist es, wenn du blöd bist.
The viking warriors fought a glorius battle against the independents and conquered Glenn Dá Loch.

The City Breidatoftir was founded.
The world is grey, the mountains old
Our people's heats are ashen-cold
No harp is wrung, no silver trumpet calls
The darkness dwells in europe's Halls
Yet we still remember, we few who dwell
In this far land beneath the trees
The truth
The Light
The dreaming golden spires
The Starlight on the western seas
Hi everyone!
I finally managed to register and turn the forum software into english. McMonkey talked me into a PBEM, so here I am after my holidays.
I don't speak a drop of german, spanish is my first language, but I also speak eanglish, and a tiny bit of french.
One question: why is this a .hot save? I always used .net files when playing pbems...
Also, are there any special tools, rules or something else I should be aware of?
Regards,
N35t0r
The save is a .hot and therer are no special rules at the moment because this is the first time we play this szenario.

Welcome N35t0r, or can I call you Nestor?
The main advantage of hotseat games, in my opinion, is that you don't need to remember to press Control+N at the end of each turn to stop the unused units from moving around. Network games do allow the use of some of the utility tools like CivDiplomacy but most of its functions can be achieved by changing the game to a .sav, opening the cheat menu, making the required alterations, changing the file back to .hot, reloading and then adding back the other players (control+j). It sounds a bit long winded but its actually a lot quicker than using CivDip. The whole community is based on trust so the fact that the cheat menu is being used is not an issue.
Regarding language. Most of the German speakers here also speak English too which is really handy. For those who don't speak English there is a free language converter you can use: SDL. I sometimes feel a bit guilty for invading a German site and forcing everyone to speak another language but the guys here don't seem to mind. It must be a bit of a pain in the butt when the German only speakers see a post of this size in English! Meine Entschuldigungen
The problem we have is our small numbers. Getting seven players together for a PBEM can be a bit of a struggle so new members are welcome. If you know of any other players that might be interested in joining in please point them in our direction! Also check the players needed thread if you want to join in any other games. I know we are looking for a new player for the de Lacy family in 'Seize the Crown'.
Enjoy the game.
Does anybody know if pressing F11 resets worked tiles for everyone else using .hot games? I'm guessing it does, so will refrain from using it on the passed on save.
In any case, here's the save. I hope I didn't do anything wrong.

What the hell want the Scots near Glas Gau?
They wanted to move East, but were thwarted by ZoC. They'll retreat promptly.

Next turn.
Apologies to the Brittons for the offending units, they have already been withdrawn.
[edit:] Actually uploading the file would be even better.
