Here is the other map with a bigger europe and several other stuff. But without this Terrain1 you'll see some parts of the world covered by ice.
I inverted two terrains and changed the glacier in taïga.
We too have a small scenario we can plan to play 2 or 3 hours each week. If you are interested you can join our group in Wippien! We use the simultaneous option. Civ2 would be dead to me without it, I had the impression to wait all the time...

A programme allowing you to play Civ2 as an Internet game very easily - and with the simultaneous moves patch you don't have to wait that long for other players to end their turns, because every player moves their units at the same time.
If you don't now Wippien maybe you know another one - Hamachi.
By the way, Pondichery - don't forget to point out that your rules-file has the French ending: rules.fre. I guess most other players will have to rename it into rules.txt in order to work properly.

So just copy the content of my rules on your own rules ;-)
Perhaps you'll too need to convert the graphics...
